Undeserved cynicism is annoying, but in some cases it can be dangerous. The people saying Trump’s corruption is standard for a politician are doing actual harm. He’s the most corrupt president we’ve ever had, there is no remotely close competition. He owns a business that’s almost certainly a money laundering front for Russian oligarchs (which is a fancy word for Putin’s state-sponsored mobsters.) Seemingly every one of his cabinet members is a con artist with scandals that would consume any other presidency. You’re not showing off how wise you are by saying this is all normal, because it’s simply not. You can’t normalize this just to look cool and jaded.
i cant believe there r people out there who dont like thor. the most cutting insult thor could come up with when fighting hulk was “youre the stupid avenger” and he apologized like 10 seconds later how do u not love that
I love Thor but NOT because he’s the flawless ray of sunshine fan on ascribes to his image. He’s said way crueler things than “you’re the stupid Avenger,” even in that very scene. The reason I like him is that despite serious and sometimes dangerous flaws, flaws that evince that a Narcissist groomed and raised him, he still tries very hard to be a good person. ♡
