if I see any Tessa Thompson hate anywhere near me I will block and unfollow and generally be an enormous pain in the ass. We’ve got a PoC Valkyrie, and not only that, she’s hella Mixed-Race (Panamanian, African, Mexican, and European descent). She kicked ass in Selma and Dear White People, and I love her. I unequivocally love her. 

Do you know how huge it is to have a mixed-race Valkyrie? DO YOU?! It’s about as huge as having a PoC Heimdall. People bitched and moaned about that because people suck, and now we’ve got a Mixed-Race Valkyrie and if you bitch and moan about her or her casting you suck.

I mean, I will do what I usually do… which is to tear apart writers who do injustice to characters, point out plot holes, pick at character inconsistencies and ableism and racism and sexism and abuse within the context of the narrative. There’s a difference between criticism of writing especially wrt themes that marginalize people, which is why I’ve been so heavily critical of characters like Sif, Heimdall, the Warriors 3, Odin, and… most Asgardians, actually. So like… criticism is one thing. But I’m saying right now, before we even see her set pics: I will not tolerate Tessa Thompson hate. Even if she turns out to be Loki’s primary antagonist, I will not tolerate it.

The blog is not going anywhere but I am so, so dried up of inspiration.  I can’t even muster enthusiasm for my favorite aspects of this fandom anymore.  

I am hoping taking a day or two off for the American Independence Day holidays will clear it up.  I think a large part of this is that i have been physically severely ill for the entire month of June, and now it’s looking like, even with a drastically higher antibiotic dose, I will still be sick for much of July, if not longer. Compromised immune systems suck.  

Another part of the problem is the enormity of drafts and Asks that I owe.  I will keep all my Asks and answer them, including the metas, but I may be dropping drafts until further notice, and leave this as strictly an Ask blog (both IC and OOC) for a little while.  

Still another part of the problem is the enormity of controversy going on around Tom Hiddleston’s latest romance. I have little to contribute to that discourse as I’m frankly not that invested in the life of a celebrity whom I will likely never meet, and since I’m a huge fan of Tom as a person and of his work,  I wish him every happiness despite the ostensible oddness of that coupling.  But there is so much ANGER in the fandom right now, and it’s making me nervous and avoidant. 

This blog has been around since 2012 and is my crowning achievement on Tumblr. I will never delete, and I will never give up on Loki wholly, so please don’t bail on me. I’ll be back, I’m just not certain when I will be back in a fully operational manner.  My great hope is  that Thor: Ragnarok will save the muse for me in 2017.  

Here are my rules: 

1. No godmodding.  This means that when you post, you do not control my character via your character’s actions.
2. Do not presume that your muse and my muse have a pre-established relationship.  This goes especially for romantic interests and children. Please provide time for our muses to build a relationship with mutual effort and creative inspiration.
3. This blog is MULTI-SHIP, but the only pairings I currently accept are with Sigyn and Seraphina Pitchiner.
4. Loki is an exceptionally abrasive personality. Please do not expect him to like or trust your muse, at least initially.  Please also do not treat him disrespectfully unless we have discussed previously and wish to explore an antagonistic relationship. It puts me in the awkward position of having to bend him out of character by making him too hesitant to take violent action against those who do not show him the sensitivity and courtesy that he, as a highly psychologically damaged character, requires.
5. I will write explicit content with you, but not smut.
6. Absolutely NO rping with Loki and a real person on a personal account. You MUST interact with him ONLY in-character.  It’s important to me to keep the boundaries of fantasy and reality intact.  
7. Do not attempt to belittle or harass any other user through me or my blog.  I will block and report you.
8. Do not use my blog as a venue to instigate Thor vs. Loki bashing wars. I love and cherish both characters and will not take sides.
9. Do NOT ask me to reply more quickly or nag me multiple times for a reply. Please exercise greater courtesy than that.  
10. I don’t rp with duplicates of my muse under any circumstances, except on rare occasions with@silvertonguedgod  and @theprisonerofasgard who are good friends.

Guys I’m not trying to be mean or Draconian here. I just know that following these rules makes for the best and happiest possible rp experience for all of us. ❤ Thanks! ❤

//Okay so my beloved friend @constancychaos , who is one of my two main Sigyns, just informed me she didn’t send some of the Asks that I got “from her” and answered just now. I’ve deleted one of them as a result. 

Y’all, don’t  be doing that.  If you want me to reply to a Sigyn Ask, I gladly will, just don’t take credit for a mainverse partner’s identity.  That makes her and me both feel a bit squicky.  In fact, I’m gonna suspend explicit content for a while because I feel like I was just now manipulated into writing a Loki post that got nsfw-ey.  

If this happens again I’m gonna have to disable anons, and I know a lot of y’all are too shy to send Asks off anon, so let’s not ruin the party for everyone.  Many thanks. ❤
